Cotton does not scratch, does not charge electrostatically and can be washed very warm. Cotton is absorbent and can absorb up to 80% of its own weight in moisture. Pure new wool always comes from shearing on live sheep. It is elastic, keeps its shape and is not susceptible to wrinkles. The yarn is very insulating and can absorb up to 33% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp
